The Park Ridge Historical Society is pleased to announce the 2013 Annual Meeting of the Society. All Park Ridge residents, guests, and friends are cordially invited to attend. ------ A reservation form is also available by mail; please call the Society at 847-696-1973 to request the form. Reservations must be received at Post Office Box 433, Park Ridge, by Tuesday, October 29.

The Friends' Fall Book Sale will be held Friday through Sunday on the first full weekend in November. ------------ On FRIDAY, the Sale will be open for Friends of the Library members ONLY. Numbers will be given out beginning at 3:00 pm. DOORS OPEN AT 4:00 PM. Memberships to the Friends of the Library may be purchased at the door. Information on Memberships is available at the Library's Circulation Desk.------------ On SUNDAY, from Noon to 2:00 pm, all items will be half-price.

Enjoy and hour of uninterrupted music by the Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Players in the divinely beautiful St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Families welcome! Ages 18 and under are free.

Petit Opera Productions presents “Cosi Fan Tutte” Music: W.A. Mozart. Chicago premiere. “MadMen” meets Mozart” in this madcap comedy about a bet on fidelity, set in a 1959 Chicago advertising agency, right on the brink of the sexual revolution. The boss bets his subordinates that their girls will not remain faithful when presented with temptation, but the "bet" takes a new twist as the girls figure out what's going on, and play up the situation to catch the guys in their own act.
