Recycle your old holiday lights now through January 31, 2014 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday at the Park Ridge Public Works Service Center.

All are welcome to attend “It’s a Wonderful Life” movie at the historic Pickwick Theatre to benefit the Park Ridge Community Fund sponsored by Liberty Bank for Savings. Admission is free but donations are appreciated. Raffle tickets will be sold for an iPad donated by Liberty Bank AS WELL AS other prizes to help raise additional funds for social service organizations serving the Park Ridge community.

St. Luke’s 74th annual Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols will be held on Sunday, December 8. ------ The musical celebration begins with the prelude music at 4:00 p.m. A freewill offering will be received.

The purpose of this group is to encourage members to write and provide a safe place to read one’s work and get some feedback. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.

"The witty and wacky world of Tom Lehrer" will be showcased at The Summit of Uptown, 10 N. Summit (at Touhy), Park Ridge, on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 1:30 p.m. Free admission.

The Park Ridge Chorale will be presenting its annual holiday concert featuring some of your favorite holiday songs. The concert will take place AT St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Park Ridge at 7:00 p.m.
