The Grinch discovered that Santa’s elves have hidden red and white candy canes along with some specialty canes at one of their favorite places – Maine Park! The Grinch is planning to find all of Santa’s candy canes and turn them green!

St. Luke’s 75th annual Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols will be held on Sunday, December 7. ------ The musical celebration begins with the prelude music at 4:00 p.m. A freewill offering will be received.

The group WINGS (Women in Need Growing Stronger) has been selected to be the recipient of the Park Ridge Whole Foods “One Dime At A Time” Program. Bring your own shopping bag to the Park Ridge store October 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014 and when you check out at the register you can donate to WINGS just by using your own bag!

The purpose of this group is to encourage members to write and provide a safe place to read one’s work and get some feedback. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.

The Summit of Uptown hosts Breakfast with Santa (and Mrs. Claus) to the enjoyment of the whole family. It's a great place to bring the kids or grandchildren. Vote for your favorite Christmas tree too.

All aboard Santa’s Holiday Express! Join Santa and his holiday crew as we sing songs, talk with Santa, play games, and enjoy face painting. Please bring a nut-free sack lunch to enjoy as Santa reads us a story. We stay on Santa’s Holiday Express train all the way to Santa’s barn (Harvard) where it turns around and heads back home to Park Ridge (Dee Rd.) station.
