St. Luke’s 77th annual Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols will be on Sunday, December 4, beginning with prelude music at 4:00 p.m. Children, youth and adult choirs, together with a variety of instrumental ensembles and chamber orchestra will lead this traditional seasonal service of word, prayer, and song. A freewill offering will be received. Plan now to attend and to bring family, friends, and neighbors.

January 20, 2017 is the LAST DAY Park Ridge Public Works (400 Busse Highway) will be collecting WHITE block styrofoam to be recycled. Drop it off between 7am and 3pm and help reduce our community's carbon footprint and keep styrofoam out of landfills. Styrofoam takes 20,000 years to biodegrade. Sorry NO food/beverage containers; NO straws, lids, plastic wrap; NO packing peanuts; NO building insulation/foam of any kind. Questions? Call Mike at 847-318-5243

St. Luke's Lutheran Church at 205 N. Prospect Ave.is hosting Yoga classes every Tuesday eve. at 7:00 p.m. -8:15 p.m. and Thursday mid morning from 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. The instructor is Dawn Christiansen and she is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor. A $5.00 donation per class goes directly to St. Luke's for their debt reduction program. Come and enjoy a nice relaxing class. All are Welcome!
