Trinity Lutheran Church presents G.F. Handel's Messiah performed in its entirety -- with soloists, choir, and orchestra. -- Free will offering appreciated. Program begins at 3:00 pm.

January 20, 2017 is the LAST DAY Park Ridge Public Works (400 Busse Highway) will be collecting WHITE block styrofoam to be recycled. Drop it off between 7am and 3pm and help reduce our community's carbon footprint and keep styrofoam out of landfills. Styrofoam takes 20,000 years to biodegrade. Sorry NO food/beverage containers; NO straws, lids, plastic wrap; NO packing peanuts; NO building insulation/foam of any kind. Questions? Call Mike at 847-318-5243

Holiday Sing-a-Long!- Monday, December 19, 1:30-3:00pm Tis the season! Sing-a-long with the Uketones as they take the stage and play some of your holiday favorites.

St. Luke's Lutheran Church at 205 N. Prospect Ave.is hosting Yoga classes every Tuesday eve. at 7:00 p.m. -8:15 p.m. and Thursday mid morning from 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. The instructor is Dawn Christiansen and she is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor. A $5.00 donation per class goes directly to St. Luke's for their debt reduction program. Come and enjoy a nice relaxing class. All are Welcome!

A member of Illinois State Senator Laura Murphy's office will be at the Library from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today. They will be situated in the Business area of the 2nd floor Reference Department. A member of this office is usually at the Park Ridge Public Library on the fourth Thursday of the following months to meet with constituents: January, Feb., April, May, July, Aug., Oct., & Nov.. Occasionally, Senator Murphy will be in attendance to answer constituent’s questions. Please phone ahead.
