January 20, 2017 is the LAST DAY Park Ridge Public Works (400 Busse Highway) will be collecting WHITE block styrofoam to be recycled. Drop it off between 7am and 3pm and help reduce our community's carbon footprint and keep styrofoam out of landfills. Styrofoam takes 20,000 years to biodegrade. East Coast Swing Dancing (NO partner needed!)- Tuesday, February 23, 7:55-8:55pm It done mean a thing if you ain’t got that swing! This dance was created by various dance studios including the Arthur Murray dance studios in the 1940s, based on the Lindy Hop. Come and learn the steps to no partner needed swing dancing.

The Park Ridge Toastmasters club has been in Park Ridge since June 9, 1949, meeting in the same location at the United Methodist Church, 418 West Touhy. We meet on the first floor and love to have guests visit our club. --- We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from January through October. Due to the Holidays we meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month in November and December.
