The purpose of this group is to encourage members to write and provide a safe place to read one’s work and get some feedback. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.

The Park Ridge Chamber and Rotary Club have partnered with world class speaker Michael Angelo Caruso for a lively and transformative luncheon. This program is open to the public and is $20 for Chamber members who RSVP by Monday, March 9 and $25 for all others. The event will take place at The Summit of Uptown, 10 Summit Avenue in Park Ridge.

The Park Ridge League of Women Voters has scheduled a candidate's forum for 7:00 pm at Park Ridge City Hall in the Council Chambers. Meet the Aldermanic Candidates for the 1st and 3rd wards.

General meetings of the Park Ridge Garden Club are held at the Park Ridge Senior Center on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE in the Park Ridge Senior Center. There are NO meetings in January, July or August. Meetings include a short business session, followed by guest speakers, refreshments and socializing, and conclude between 9:00-10:00 pm

We meet on the first floor and love to have guests visit our club. --- We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from January through October. Due to the Holidays we meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month in November and December.

Friday Night Live Club is a fun and safe club designed for students in 4th & 5th grade.

A United Methodist Women's missions fundraiser event featuring a delicious luncheon, followed by a dramatic historical character portrayal by Ellie Carlson. She portrays Mamah Borthwick Cheney, whose tempestuous relationship with famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright and violent fate scandalized her turn of the century contemporaries. Tickets are $25. The Prairie Avenue Writers will present a public reading of their work from their recently published anthology. The reading will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14. Following the readings, there will be general discussion about the presented works and about writing for publication and/or personal pleasure in the midst of leading a busy everyday life.
