Join the City For the Holiday Winterfest Celebration!

Here's a schedule for this year's Winterfest celebration:
In South Park
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Santa at "Living Sea Aquarium", 811 Devon. Pictures with Santa.
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Trolleys will load and unload on Prospect at Devon for a ride to Uptown
Trolleys stop running at 9:00 p.m. SHARP!
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Live Reindeer and Santa's Elves in South Park - photo opp! (PNC Bank parking lot)
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
See the luminaries along Prospect and Courtland (thank you BSA Troop 3!)
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Fire station #35 will have their apparatus available for kids to see! Refreshments!
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Visit the merchants in South Park for Open House treats!
In Uptown
5:45pm - 9:00pm
Trolley sponsored by Whole Foods Market running in Uptown
5:30pm - 9:00 p.m.
Smilin Dawgs in Hodges Park to sell chili dogs, chili, hot drinks and more!
5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Prospect Ave closed in front of library
6:00 p.m.
Free Tea and Hot Chocolate will be served by the First United Methodist Church of Park Ridge on Prospect Ave near the Clocktower. Hot tea donated by TeaLula, and hot chocolate donated by Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.  Stop by early, as supplies are limited to the first 500!

7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Come clap your hands and tap your toes to free live Christmas music with a little Jazz.  Joe Brown Trio, November 29 at 7:00-9:00 p.m., 2nd Floor of the Pickwick Office Building.
Luminaries which have been placed by Boy Scout Troop 3 (Mary, Seat of Wisdom) will line Prospect & Courtland between Uptown & South Park. Look for the Best Decorated House for Winterfest 2013! Judging by the Park Ridge Garden Club.

The Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce will have 4 trolleys running during Winterfest from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 29.

Uptown Trolley Route, sponsored by Whole Foods Market
Starting at Whole Foods Market, 225 W. Touhy Ave., at front door. The stops are as follows:
1.       At cross walk by Elements Massage, 33 S. Northwest Hwy
2.      At Affresco Restaurant, 11 N. Northwest Highway
3.      At Kustum Kribs Baby Boutique, 147 N. Northwest Hwy
4.      At Iannelli Studios, 255 N. Northwest Hwy.
5.      At train station
6.      At Cosa Linda Salon, 59 S. Summit Ave. (across street)
7.       Back at Whole Foods Market front door

Trolley Route for South of the Tracks, sponsored by Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Children's Hospital, ComEd, and Country Financial. (Three trolleys will be running)
Trolley Stops:
1.       Prospect between Talcott and Devon (street closed to through traffic)
2.      Fairview at Main Street
3.      Vine Street at Hodges Park
Enjoy the hundreds of luminaries that Boy Scout Troop 3 from Mary, Seat of Wisdom set up with the help of Ed Graham at Public Works. And be sure to stop and enjoy refreshments at the many merchants who will be open during Winterfest!
