The League of Women Voters of Cook County will offer a presentation at the Park Ridge Public Library on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. on what is at stake for the County in the November 4 general election.

"Cook County Matters" will help provide non-partisan information regarding what local officials do, what costs are involved, and where money comes from, as well as details on important issues currently up for vote.

This election cycle, voters will be electing the Cook County President, Sheriff, County Clerk, Assessor, and all 17 Commissioners to the County Board. The League's presentation provides an invaluable opportunity to become better informed on these key roles.

For more information, please contact Diane Edmundson at (847)292-1867. The Park Ridge Public Library is located at 20 S. Prospect Avenue in Uptown Park Ridge.
