Library U: Fiction Writing Workshop with Christine Sneed

Coming in February to Park Ridge Public Library - Library U’s Second Series of In-depth, Interest-specific Classes 

February 1, 15, 22 from 7:00-8:30 p.m.

1st floor meeting room. $50

In this three-part fiction writing workshop, participants will be introduced to some of the primary tools of fiction writing, including point of view, characterization, and narrative structure. Each class meeting will also include time for writing, with exercises and prompts provided by the instructor. Christine Sneed is the author of the novels Paris, He Said and Little Known Facts, and the story collections Portraits of a Few of the People I've Made Cry and The Virginity of Famous Men.  She is the faculty director of Northwestern University’s MA/MFA program in creative writing. Cost is $50 for the series. Please register in person at the Reader Services desk. No refunds.
