February 29, 2016 12:01 PM
This ten-film series, opening on March 3, will be showcasing the great movie comedy teams of the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s. Profiling comedians whose names are synonymous with the Golden Age of Hollywood: Laurel & Hardy, the Marx Brothers and Abbott & Costello, as well as lesser-known teams of Wheeler & Woolsey, Olsen & Johnson and the female comediennes, Thelma Todd, Patsy Kelly and Zasu Pitts, this series is a sequel to the popular 2011 program that profiled the great comics of the silent screen.

The program starts on March 3 with Laurel & Hardy’s Sons of the Desert, one of their most popular feature films.
