16th Annual Youth Pumpkin Patch

Each year, the Youth Group and Youth Committee along with other groups in the Park Ridge Community Church embark on their largest fundraiser, the Youth Pumpkin Patch. The proceeds from this fundraiser support their youth programs, the summer mission trip, and the designated charities chosen by the high school youth.
 
The Pumpkin Patch opens on Saturday, October 12th. The patch will be in operation throughout the month, six days a week, until the supply of pumpkins is sold out.
 
The Patch provides great fun for families and kids of all ages. There will be thousands of pumpkins, a variety of gourds and squash. Live music on the weekends, homemade baked goods and dusk showings of "It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" on the following Friday and Saturday evenings:

​This event helps celebrates the season in the greater Park Ridge Community. A wonderful time for fun, service and fellowship. Please come out and join them!
 
2019 Youth Selected Charity - Les Turner ALS Foundation
The Les Turner ALS Foundation exists to care for those affected by the disease, answer their questions, support them and their loved ones and provide hope through scientific research.
 
​ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is a rapidly progressive, neuromuscular disease that causes muscle weakness in the arms and legs and causes difficulty speaking and swallowing. To find out more information on the Foundation's mission and their great work click here.

Donations of Baked Goods
 
Calling all bakers...We are looking for donations of baked goods for the patch. Donations of all baked goods are welcome; smaller items such as cookies, Rice Krispy treats, etc., should be pre-packaged in amounts that would sell for $1.00.
