School District 64 Launches Community Survey Targeting its Website

November 14, 2013 10:51 AM
Park Ridge-Niles School District 64 has launched an online survey to offer an opportunity for all members of the community to evaluate how well its current website is meeting their wide-ranging needs for information. The short survey will be available at www.d64.org through Tuesday, November 26.

District 64 also has teamed with a local company to analyze traffic to the school and District websites. In addition, the consultant will conduct in-depth focus groups in December with parents, staff, and community residents to further explore their experiences using the website, including why they visit and whether the information they are seeking is easy to find and current.

"The goal is to identify how we can make this essential communications tool better for both frequent and occasional users," according to Public Information Coordinator Bernadette Tramm.

A complete report combining the surveys and focus group input along with the technical data is expected to be presented to the Board of Education in January.
