Property Tax Assessment Appeal Seminars for Maine Township

The seminar is co-hosted by Park Ridge Mayor Marty Maloney, Maine Township Assessor Susan Moylan Krey, Cook County Commissioner Peter Silvestri, State Rep. Marty Moylan, and State Rep. Brad Stephens.  The hourlong session will educate taxpayers on how to file a successful tax appeal.
The first seminar will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 and will begin at 6:00 p.m.  It will be held at Park Ridge City Hall located at 505 Butler Place.

The second seminar will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 and will begin at 6:00 p.m.  It will be held at Maine Township Hall located at 1700 Ballard Rd. 

Residents will view a presentation from Commissioner Patlak on how to appeal their property tax assessment.  Attendees may complete and submit appeal forms at the end of the event.  These events are free to the public and no registration is necessary. 

Taxpayers may file an appeal online by visiting the Board of Review website: www.cookcountyboardofreview.com. Alternatively, appeal forms also may be picked up at the Board of Review located at 118 N. Clark Street, Room 601, Chicago, IL, local township offices, or print form available on the Board website.
